The Department of Botany started to handle complementary courses for the Zoology main students during 2019 and became a full-fledged department during the academic year 2020. The department is offering B.Sc Botany degree with specialization in Genetics and Plant Breeding. Till the current academic year, two batches successfully completed the course and being placed at various institutions for their PG and other professional courses. The department is mainly focused on research oriented academic sessions with enhanced professional enthusiasm.
